Welcome to the USS Yossarian!
“If we don’t end war, war will end us.”
― H.G. Wells
Welcome to the USS Yossarian - a New Orleans Class Starship. The current year is 2368 and there is peace between the Federation and Cardassians.
Or is there?
Too many years have passed since the beginning spark of the conflict, too many have perished during this time. Personal losses have only grown and trouble is on the horizon as the alpha quadrant settles in for a rocky armistice. The crew of the USS Yossarian thought themselves safe with their role in reconnaissance, little did they know they would have been thrust into the fire.
Years passed, and an armistice was signed.
But not everyone had heard the message.
The Yossarian is hit, escaping with the lives of her crew intact only to limp back home to where the rules of the game have changed.

The fracture along the gyroscope could not reveal its true depth under the flashlight that shone on it, but the tricorder Jenni held did not need illumination to do its work. A variety of methods ranging from echolocation to depth perception confirmed that the fracture had transformed…
Hal looked at the Cardassian ship, his jaw clenched. The klaxons rang loudly in his ears as he stared at it for what seemed like an eternity. Though the admiral had assured them that the armistice was in place, Hal knew better than to take it at face value. There…
It had almost become habit. Habit from bouncing between point A to point B like a never-ending ideal Newton's Cradle. They'd do a long stint of anywhere between 15 to 20 months before heading back to the nearest Spacedock to resupply; and during this time, Hal had seen a lot…

Captain's log -- wow, its strange to hear those words come out of my mouth.
It was a late call, later than I would like but early enough for me to not regret being placed back on active duty.
Starfleet deemed to give me the green light after…
